The traffic jam of strollers lined up along the entry way was my first clue that I would not be staggering home midday after a typical booze-soaked brunch this crowd is accustomed to. Upon first walking into this establishment, tucked away on the less traveled paths of the West Village, you are immediately surprised and comforted by it’s casual, loungy atmosphere. The plush red benches and the chandeliers lend an air of sophistication to an otherwise pub-like interior.
